1977 - Born in Montréal, Crown Vik (Hervick Valsaint) is no stranger to the game when it comes to producing. Growing up in a tough neighborhood, Vik and his family move to the west side of the city (Deeprock) looking for a better life. With family influence, Vik has always had music in his life. >From the church choir since a young age, to freestyling on the block and on to performance shows. In 2003 he featured on a track in collaboration with Wise Beats called “G-Spot”.

Went on to feature on records with Montreal Cyrano from,Sans Pression and many more local artists. He produced his first mixtape in 2006 titled “L’Aspect VN” featuring A’s.

Now Vik joins Dossier Militaire to raise the bar in Montreal with superior beats, intelligent lyrics and an outstanding flow. With more albums in line to come, you can look forward to his debut album scheduled to be released in 2008
